MI-TAC is modeled after the very successful Teacher Advisory Council, established in 2002 by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, MI-TAC works in conjunction with the National Academies Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) to provide a valuable direct connection between the teaching community and the educational experts and policymakers who are shaping both the Michigan and National educational system. MI-TAC is an affiliated Special Interest Work Group of NME.
